KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Censof Holdings Bhd rose in early trade Tuesday after securing a contract from the Social Security Organisation (Socso).
The tech solution provider climbed 1.64%, or 0.5 sen to 31 sen, its highest in almost two weeks. Year-to-date, the counter has risen over 19.2%.
Censof has secured a contract worth RM5.14mil from Socso to manage and upgrade the latter’s data storage for its comprehensive Saga System.
It said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd, had accepted a letter of award from Socso for the job.
The contract is for a period of three years, commencing from Feb 1, 2022 to Jan 31, 2025.
“Bearing any unforeseen circumstances, the board is of the opinion that the contract will contribute positively to the earnings per share and the future earnings of Censof group,” it said.
