GEORGE TOWN: It will be raining “cats and dogs” in Penang until Monday (March 7) night.
In a statement by Penang Island City Council (MBPP), the public is advised to be careful while being outdoors.
“The public is urged to always be alert and focus on driving, and plan your trip well.
“The safety of you and your family must come first,” the statement read.
The public can contact MBPP hotline on any complaints about landslides, fallen trees and others at 04-263 7000 or 04-263 7637.
Meanwhile, in an infographic by the Malaysia Meteorology Department, there will be thunderstorm and heavy rain in Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan, Melaka as well as certain parts of Kedah, Pahang, Johor and Sabah until 7pm Monday (March 7).
