       KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: Reliable sources revealed the government tendency to compel government agencies to identify the job opportunities for national cadres, when submitting any modern construction projects within the development plan, reports Al-Qabas daily. The sources explained that the authorities should indicate an estimate of the number of jobs that will be available in the project, and specify the necessary specializations of human cadres to manage and operate the project upon its structural completion.

       The statement of these needs for national human cadres will contribute to aligning the outputs of higher education with the needs of these projects, by adapting the university’s admission plans and scholarships to these estimates of specializations and the necessary preparation for the projects. A number of projects that were implemented within the development plan in the past witnessed a delay in operation due to the failure to determine the human cadres necessary to operate them before starting the implementation.

       With estimates of the preparation of the necessary cadres and their specializations with a project feasibility study, it will be possible to provide these cadres to ensure the projects are not delayed. The sources concluded by saying the number of job opportunities that projects can provide for Kuwaiti youth will be within the criteria for evaluating the usefulness of including the project in future development plans.
