       KUWAIT CITY, July 4: The Ministry of Interior has announced the Public Security Affairs Sector has issued 19,944 ‘conciliation orders’ for minor traffic accidents after activating Article 34 of the Traffic Law, which contributes to accelerating compensation and reducing cases before the courts for a period beginning Jan 1 to June 30, 2021, made 19,944 reconciliation orders, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

       The Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry said in a press statement the reconciliation order is issued after the parties to the accident go to the police station to take measures and issue a traffic citation against the party causing the accident and issue a report. The administration indicated that activating Article 34 of the Traffic Law regarding the reconciliation order aims to relieve the parties from the waiting period which is approximately one year until the verdict is issued to claim compensation.
