Nigel Farage weighs in on Rwanda bill vote
Rishi Sunak's Rwanda Bill cleared the Commons tonight after the majority of Tory rebels backed down.
MPs voted 320 to 276, majority 44, to approve the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill at third reading.
Some 11 Tory MPs including former home secretary Suella Braverman and ex-immigration minister Robert Jenrick voted against the Bill.
New Conservatives co-founders Danny Kruger and Miriam Cates, European Research Group chairman Mark Francois and veteran Sir Bill Cash also rebelled.
Lee Anderson, who quit as Tory deputy chairman to back right-wing amendments yesterday, was among 18 Conservative MPs who had no vote recorded.

A Number 10 spokesman said: “The passing of the Bill tonight marks a major step in our plan to stop the boats.
"This is the toughest legislation ever introduced in Parliament to tackle illegal migration and will make clear that if you come here illegally you will not be able to stay.
“It is this Government and the Conservative Party who have got boat crossings down by more than a third.
"We have a plan, we have made progress and this landmark legislation will ensure we get flights off to Rwanda, deter people from making perilous journeys across the Channel and stop the boats.”

Speaking during the committee stage, Mrs Braverman warned voters will "not forgive us" if the Government fails to stop small boats.
She told the Commons: "This is our last chance to fix this problem. We have stretched the patience of the British people. But this comes down to a very simple but profound question ultimately of, who governs Britain?"

The former home secretary said the European Court of Human Rights was "currently controlling this country's ability to stop the boats".
She added: "We are being governed by a foreign court and judges who do not have our interests at heart. The decisions coming from that court are stopping us from controlling our borders."
The Bill and a new treaty with Rwanda are aimed at getting the policy of sending asylum seekers on a one-way ticket off the ground following a Supreme Court ruling against the scheme.
