KUALA LUMPUR: Pacific Trustees Bhd, the trustee of AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), has accepted an offer to enter into a long-term tenancy of 15 years with IHT Rehabilitation Centre (Selangor) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Integra Healthcare Technology Sdn. Bhd.

       The 74,104 sq ft property located in Glenmarie, Shah, Alam, will be rented on an as-is basis and will function as a new rehabilitation centre for IHT, it said in a statement.

       "Onboarding this long-term and high-profile new tenant is on the cusp of our turning around. We have thus far witnessed a strong flow of enquiries from numerous other domestic- and foreign-based corporations who have expressed keen interest in taking up space in our properties," said AmanahRaya-Kenedix Reit Managers Sdn Bhd managing director Tunku Rozita.

       Overall, AKRM manages a total of 12 properties nationwide, including educational assets of SEGi University Kota Damansara, SEGi College Subang Jaya and HELP University campuses, all of which are fully tenanted. AKRM’s other assets are in the office, industrial, retail and hospitality sectors.
