GB News' Becca Hutson attacked Prince Harry following the announcement of his memoirs which many believe will discuss his life in the Royal Family in not too glowing terms. The book, set to be released in late 2022, will look at Harry's time in the institution, in the army, and where he is now. But the Duke of Sussex has come under fire for appearing to attack the Royal Family once more with Ms Hutson sadly comparing him to an "influencer" who is forced to share intimate details of themselves to remain relevant.
Speaking on GB News, Ms Hutson looked at Prince Harry's new memoir which has recently been sold to Penguin Random House to publish.
The book is set to look at the royal's life so far at the age of 36 and is expected to fill in the gaps from his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.
Ms Hutson took a sceptical but sympathetic view and told the channel: "He has kind of fallen into this sort of influencer trap, hasn't he?
"That you have to reveal more to keep your currency like a Kardashian to remain relevant.
"I think the human aspect to this it's just awful, a family that we are watching being torn apart by the by his behaviour.
"This is honestly... he's obviously in a bad place, this is the behaviour of someone who was hurt or hurting.
"This is not someone who is happy and enjoying life and is very happy to have started this new chapter in America, you know this just smacks of pain."
Since his departure from the Royal Family, Prince Harry has given several interviews where he spoke about his time in the institution.
He told Dax Shepherd on the Armchair Expert podcast that Prince Charles passed on his "trauma" to his children because of the way he was brought up by the Queen and Prince Phillip.
The Duke of Sussex said he wanted to break that chain with his children.
He also claimed both Prince William and Prince Charles feel "trapped" in the Royal Family during his sit-down with Oprah Winfrey.
The book is not the first novel from the Sussexes with Meghan Markle publishing her first children's book, The Bench, earlier this year.
Following the mixed reception of the book, Meghan is currently working on a new Netflix series codenamed "Pearl" which will follow a young girl as she learns and explores the history of influential women in the world.
