Nigel Farage clashed with Channel 4 last night as a reporter repeated questions about his visit to Milwaukee put to him by Emily Maitlis earlier in the day.
Channel 4’s Siobhan Kennedy asked whether Mr Farage had met with Donald Trump yet, whether he is going to, and when the meeting might be.
Each time the Reform UK leader replied with short, terse, one-word answers of “No”, “yes” and “don’t know yet” respectively.
Asked whether Mr Trump had asked him to go to the Republican National Convention, Mr Farage hit back: “What on earth has it got to do with you?”
He repeated this slapdown when asked whether he should be with his constituents in Clacton rather than in the US.

Ms Kennedy stroppily replied: “it’s only a question”.
Mr Farage insisted: “There’s an eight day week, as long as I work seven of them we’re ok”.
Asked whether he still believes Donald Trump’s policies are the right way forward for America, Mr Farage said: “for peace, yes”.
“I think peace comes through strength not through weakness, and I think his first four years were a good four years in terms of foreign policy - far better than anything we’ve seen since under Joe Biden.”

Channel 4 also caught up with Liz Truss, who remained silent as she was asked why she was at the convention and whether she would meet with President Trump.
