KUALA LUMPUR: Duopharma Biotech Bhd’s net profit for its fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2021 dropped to RM15.72mil from RM16.19mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue rose to RM145.44mil compared with RM134.09mil a year earlier.

       For its financial year ended Dec 31, 2021, Duopharma posted a net profit of RM65.68mil, up 12% from RM58.61mil in 2020, while revenue climbed to RM639.18mil against RM569.90mil a year ago.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the improved revenue was due to higher sales to the consumer healthcare and public health sector during the period. A second interim dividend of 1.8 sen for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2021 was declared.
