KUALA LUMPUR: Two men and a woman were arrested following a raid at an illegal online gambling den located at a condominium in Desa Petaling.

       Kuala Lumpur Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Asst Comm Mohd Mahidisham Ishak said the raid was conducted at about 5.45pm Tuesday (April 12).

       "We detained three locals aged between 18 and 22, believed to be part of the gambling syndicate.

       "We also seized various items including two laptops, three cellphones and a monitor," he said when contacted Wednesday (April 13).

       An investigation is underway under Section 4(1) of the Open Gaming House Act, he added.

       "The suspects have been remanded until Thursday (April 14) for further investigations," he said.
