How George and Charlotte will spend Christmas with Queen and Carole Middleton

At the moment, the Royal Family hasn't confirmed how royals will be spending Christmas this year. But with several grandparents and great-grandparents, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are likely to be spoiled this festive season. Here is how George, Charlotte and Louis could be spending Christmas this year.

Every year, members of the Royal Family traditionally visit the Queen at her private residence in Norfolk to spend the festive season.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have spent previous Christmases there with the Queen and their paternal grandparents, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

If George, Charlotte and Louis spend Christmas Day with the Queen this year, royal fans may get to see new pictures of the Cambridge family on their traditional walk to church.

The Royal Family visit the church of St Mary Magdalene nearby to the Sandringham Estate every year for the traditional Christmas Day service.

George and Charlotte have joined their parents on the walk before, but this year could be little Prince Louis' Sandringham debut.

If George, Charlotte and Louis visit the Queen for Christmas, they may expect to open their presents on Christmas Eve with the rest of the Royal Family.

And the children will certainly enjoy a specially prepared feast too!

Kate and William will likely be taking their royal children to Bucklebury in Berkshire to visit their beloved grandparents over the holidays this year.

Carole and Michael Middleton are known to be devoted grandparents to George, Charlotte and Louis.

And as the owner of a successful party business, Carole likely has some special activities planned for her grandchildren.

In an interview with the Telegraph a few years ago, Carole touched on how she enjoys decorating Christmas trees with her grandchildren every year.

She told the publication she puts a tree in each of the grandchildren's rooms "so that they can decorate it themselves".

And on her Party Pieces Instagram account, Carole said this year: "Once again this year we plan to have two Christmas trees: one for the children to decorate and one which I do myself."

In addition to George, Charlotte and Louis, Carole and Michael are also grandparents to their daughter Pippa's two children with James Matthews.

As well as visiting their grandparents, George, Charlotte and Louis will likely celebrate Christmas at home with their parents as well.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK!: “I think we’re looking at three Christmases rolled into one for William and Kate and their children.

“There will be Christmas on their own with their kids, the more formal celebrations at Sandringham with William’s family and then time with Kate’s family, the Middletons.

“But something we know for sure about William and Kate is that they want their children to feel normal and so they certainly won’t be lavishing them with expensive gifts, that’s for certain. They won’t let them be spoiled.”
