Emergency crews were on the scene of a shooting on the Bishop Ford Freeway on the Far South Side on Wednesday night.
About 6:45 p.m., an ambulance was sent to 131st Street and the Bishop Ford for a gunshot victim, said Fire Department Chief Walter Schroeder.
On the scene, paramedics found nobody had been shot, said Schroeder, who said one person who “witnessed” a shooting was taken to Roseland Community Hospital for psychological reasons. That person was in good condition.
