MELAKA: International Trade and Industry (Miti) Deputy Minister Datuk Lim Ban Hong has tested positive for Covid-19.
Lim, in a Facebook post on Tuesday (March 22), said he learned he was positive, after a self-test before the Parliament session, the day before.
He is now under home quarantine after the result of his RT-PCR test confirmed that he was positive.
"I received the RT-PCR result this morning (March 22).
"Yesterday (March 21), I did a saliva test before attending Parliament session and also tested positive," said Lim, who is also the Klebang assemblyman.
Lim also urged his close contacts to do a self-test and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
