KUALA LUMPUR: Jiankun International Bhd (Jiankun) is confident that the Flat PKNS Jalan Tun Razak, Kampung Baru redevelopment project will progress according to the scheduled timeline to ensure minimum disruption to the residents and the local community.
The redevelopment project, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.2bil, will be undertaken by Menara Rezeki Properties Sdn Bhd.
Jiankun and Menara Rezeki have a 70% and 30% stake in Menara Rezeki Properties respectively. They will be the core developers of the redevelopment project.
In a statement, Jiankun said the developers have given a detailed explanation on the proposed redevelopment project to the residents,
In addition, they have disclosed the offer and services that would be given to the residents of PKNS. They are also getting feedback from the people in terms of their concerns and views on the project.
“It is important that both parties and the residents can communicate so that the demolition of Flat PKNS Jalan Tun Razak in Kampung Baru will be done smoothly and responsibly.
“This will help us to move forward with the redevelopment project and it is also vital for the local community to have a clear understanding of the proposals in terms of how they would benefit the community,” said executive director Azmi Osman.
Under the proposed redevelopment plan, the companies will build 52-storey apartment towers for the existing owners of the Flat PKNS Jalan Tun Razak.
The proposed redevelopment project includes relocating existing residents into a new apartment that will be built as well as a comprehensive compensation package for the existing residents. — Bernama
