A court heard how they started cuddling on the sofa at her "party house" but their relationship became intimate and the boy said he was in love with her, TeessideLive reports.
The victim said he had "no reason for leave her house" and even bunked off school to spend more time together.
His mum raised the alarm and told her son to stop seeing Hesler, who, at 26, was almost twice his age.
But witnesses told the trial he spent all his time at Hesler's home, with one claiming to have walked into her bedroom and found the boy under the duvet.
Another said Hesler "disappeared for hours" while on a camping trip and was later spotted leaving a tent with the teen.
Hesler, who lived with her then-husband and the foster children she cared for, claimed she invited them to her house to make friends.
But Teesside Magistrates' Court heard she plied them with Budweiser, cigarettes, and sometimes cannabis, as well as giving them PlayStation games.
Hesler even joined the kids in her hot tub wearing a bikini, the jury was told.

The victim said he ended things after seeing Hesler kissing another boy in the water.
"In a funny way, it set me free," he said. "I realised the relationship was never going to work.
"It was all for her own selfish needs. It should never have happened.
"I was 13, possibly 14, at the time of the very first sex. I shouldn't even know what it was about at that age."
The teenager reported the sexual abuse he suffered to police years later after his wife told him she was thinking of becoming a social worker.
And Hesler, from Great Broughton, North Yorkshire, has now been found guilty of two counts of indecent assault.
She was released on bail and will be sentenced on December 13.
Judge Paul Watson: "You've been convicted of very serious offences and you must prepare yourself for the consequences when you you return."
