SUNGAI BULOH: Police have taken statements from three Form Four students over an alleged bullying of a Form 1 student at a secondary school at Puncak Alam.
Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Shafaaton Abu Bakar said the incident allegedly occurred at around 12pm on Monday (June 13).
"The victim was in the toilet when he was approached by three students.
"He claimed the three demanded money from him, but told them he left the money in his school bag.
“One of the students allegedly hit the victim's head before the other took a stone and struck the victim’s right knee,” she told reporters on Thursday (June 16).
Supt Shafaaton said the victim claimed he suffered injuries to his cheek, nose, right knee and broken teeth due to the attack.
"During questioning, the victim claimed he was pushed by the students.
“The victim also claimed that he injured his knee while falling on the road several days prior to the incident,” she said, adding that the victim was called to an identification parade but failed to identify the students involved.
"We have opened investigations under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
"We are working on identifying those who were involved," she said.
