A DAD and son obsessed with weapons stabbed a car thief to death with a sword, a court heard.
David King, 55, and Edward 19, flipped when Neil Charles gave the thumbs-up to their security camera.

They confronted him after he had tried to open the door of their £30,000 BMW 135i at around 4am.
The pair, who kept knives, knuckle-dusters, machetes and registered shotguns, were intent on meting out their “own justice”, a crown court jury was told.
Edward had warned a neighbourhood WhatsApp group of car thieves in the area, and the family ordered a sword the next day.
They confronted career thief Charles, 47, last June “with at least two weapons” 75 yards from their home in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Charles suffered a 7in stab wound to the chest and died two days later.
Chris Paxton QC, prosecuting, said it was an act of “vigilante violence meted out by this father and son team who were fired by anger and seeking retribution”.
