KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A total of 22,191,734 individuals, or 94.8% of the country's adult population, have been fully vaccinated agsainst Covid-19 as of Tuesday (Oct 26), says the Health Ministry.
According to data on the ministry's CovidNow portal, some 22,830,806 individuals, or 97.5% of the adult population, have also received at least one dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine.
A total of 181,160 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered on Tuesday, bringing the cumulative number of vaccine doses given out under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 49,434,613.
As of Tuesday, 1,851,024, or 58.8% of adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old, have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 while 82%, or 2,581,280 individuals, have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Meanwhile, a total of 22,692 Covid-19 vaccine booster shots were administered on Tuesday, bringing the cumulative total to 146,469. - Bernama
