KUALA LUMPUR: There has been a change in seating positions in the first row of the Opposition bloc in the Dewan Rakyat after the DAP party elections, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic).
The Transport Minister pointed out that the seats of several MPs are no longer in the same place.
“DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke is now seated at the third position after PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the Opposition leader, and Amanah chief Mohamad Sabu.
“Meanwhile, the position of YB Lim Guan Eng had been moved to fifth place next to Parti Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
“The seat of YB Lim Kit Siang has been changed and he is no longer in the first row of the Opposition bloc as the former DAP parliamentary Leader has been replaced by YB Nga Kor Ming.
“So, Nga's seat is next to Lim Guan Eng and YB Datuk Seri Wan Azizah (Wan Ismail),” he wrote in a Facebook post on Monday (April 11).
Wee also congratulated Loke and Nga, who is the DAP vice-president for the new term.
