       KUWAIT CITY, March 16: Hundreds of cleaners from cleaning companies failed to return on duty at schools and educational institutions due to non-payment of their salaries. These cleaners work in 5 educational areas except in Farwaniya area. These workers work on ministry contracts. The Ministry of Education which is suffering from a hygienic crisis will end soon as new contracts are being issued to cleaning companies.

       The financial section in the ministry was able to reach a solution after having a meeting with the company and the problem will be resolved soon, reports Al Rai. The last payment was disbursed to the company in July and its account was frozen due to violations.

       The news workers are being appointed through the Civil Service Commission which is around 1,000 to 1,100 workers.
