PETALING JAYA: A downpour in the Klang Valley has worsened the evening rush congestion on several highways.

       The New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) was congested during the evening rush on Tuesday (Jan 4), especially near the Jalan Duta toll, according to Sinar Harian.

       There were reports of slow traffic from the NKVE to Jalan Subang and towards Bukit Jelutong.

       The Malaysian Highway Board (LLM) also tweeted of slow traffic on the Duta-Ulu Kelang (Duke) Highway involving several routes.

       “Traffic is congested from the Duta intersection to NKVE and Sentul Pasar to Batu Toll Plaza; Setiawangsa towards the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) towards Ampang,” LLM tweeted at 6.32pm on Tuesday.
