PETALING JAYA: Several roads in Kuala Lumpur are starting to flood, raising fears of yet another series of flash floods on Tuesday evening (March 8).
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), in a post on its official Facebook page, shared several photos showing several roads starting to be flooded.
Among roads identified were Jalan Bangsar, Jalan Yaakob Latif, Jalan Syed Putra, Jalan Sri Permaisuri, Jalan Kuchai Lama and the East West Expressway.
"City folk are advised to be careful on the road," the post read.
Parts of the affected roads were seen to be submerged while the downpour had reduced traffic to a crawl at these areas.
At press time, Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department said it had yet to receive any reports on flash floods.
On Monday evening (March 7), several areas in the capital city were submerged after a continuous downpour that started at 3pm.
DBKL, in response, had activated two relief centres at Dewan Sultan Sulaiman in Kampung Baru and SJKT Saraswathi in Lembah Pantai.
