A 15-year-old girl has handed herself over to police after she was filmed attacking two other teenagers at a park in Australia.

       Footage from Friday showed the girl, who was wearing a black bikini, standing over two young women as they sunbathed at Coogee Bay Oval in Sydney.

       The young women remained calm as the 15-year-old shouted at them before launching the vicious attack.

       It is understood the 15-year-old believed she had been the subject of rumours circulating around kids her age.

       New South Wales Police confirmed to the Daily Mail that the 15-year-old had handed herself into Maroubra Police station on Tuesday.

       "Police have spoken to a number of youths involved in an incident that took place last Friday at Coogee Oval, Coogee," a police spokesperson said.

       "Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports a teenage girl had assaulted two other girls. The group dispersed before police arrived.

       "Following inquiries, a 15-year-old girl attended Maroubra Police Station and spoke with the Youth Officer about 2.30pm yesterday."

       The video shows the teen suddenly starting to punch her and pull her hair.

       As the violence unfolded, a group of men can then be heard encouraging them to hit each other.

       The attacker was then seen dragging one of the women over the grass.

       The attack lasted for nearly a minute and ended with the girl in the black bikini launch one last kick toward the victim's head.

       The footage was taken by a concerned parent who watched the horror unfold.

       The dad told the Daily Telegraph: “She can't be let to get away with this thinking she can just attack people and not have any consequence, and the young blokes egging her on should also be tracked down and charged with inciting the violence.”
