A MAN has been arrested after several people were injured in a suspected "noxious substance" attack during an alleged burglary in West Sussex, police said.
The Sun understands the suspect is a 32-year-old man, local to where the incident took place on Sturges Road, in Bognor Regis.

Police were called to the incident around 4pm on Sunday
It is unclear what exactly the substance was.
Cops closed a section of the road from around 4pm on Sunday.
Emergency crews responded to a disturbance at an address on the road after reports a substance had been thrown.
The ambulance service treated people at the scene.

A man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains in custody.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: "Police and emergency services responded to a report of a disturbance at an address in Sturges Road, Bognor, reported shortly after 4pm on Sunday, July 14.
"It is believed a suspected noxious substance may have been thrown during the course of the incident.
"One man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains in custody at this stage.

"The ambulance service treated people for minor injuries, believed to be in connection with the suspected noxious substance.
"Officers are investigating, and there will be an increased police presence to provide reassurance."
Witnesses or anyone with information such as CCTV, mobile phone or doorbell footage, are asked to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 780 of 14/07.
South East Coast Ambulance Service did not wish to comment.
