POLICE have descended on busy shopping centre following a horror stabbing - with cops cordoning off a Next store.
Emergency services scrambled to Arndale Centre in Manchester this evening following the attack.

A witness reported seeing up to five people assaulted by a knife-wielding attacker, although police have not yet confirmed the numbers of injuries or nature of the attack.
Officers have been seen in the centre's Next store, which is taped off.
Images also show several police vans at the junction of Withy Grove and Corporation Street outside Next.
An eyewitness also reported seeing an ambulance parked near the scene and smashed glass inside the building.
Pictures show a further two police vehicles parked outside the shopping centre's Exchange Square entrance.
Cops have confirmed they are at the scene of "a stabbing" in what they believe to be an "isolated incident".

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "We are currently dealing with a stabbing within the Arndale shopping centre.
"It's believed to be an isolated incident, with no wider threat to the public.
"If you witnessed or have any video footage, please contact GMP on 101 or live chat, quoting log 2488 28/01/22."
