KUALA LUMPUR: The Coalition for Clean & Fair Election (Bersih) has handed over their notice of Tuesday (Feb 27)'s planned gathering at Parliament to police.

It confirmed this on its Facebook page on Monday (Feb 26).

BERSIH has completed submitting a notice to Dang Wangi police headquarters regarding the action in Parliament demanding #Reformasi100Peratus.

"Bersih submitted a notice at the Dang Wangi police headquarters regarding the gathering at Parliament to demand #Reformasi100Peratus tomorrow," it wrote in the post.

When contacted, City police chief Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid said that the Peaceful Assembly Act stated that a notice has to be given at least five days prior to the gathering.

"Section 9(1) of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012 says it is a five-day notice with the relevant supporting documents," he said.
