       KUWAIT CITY, Aug 8: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has announced the latest statistics from the afternoon labor inspection team of the National Center for Occupational Health and Safety for July 2024. According to the report, inspectors reviewed 94 sites during the month.

       The inspection results revealed that 53 companies were cited for initial violations. However, no further violations were found upon re-inspection of these sites.

       The statistics also indicated that 94 workers were present at the sites with violations. Following corrective actions, 41 companies successfully met the requirements on subsequent inspections. Additionally, the Authority received 7 reports concerning labor issues.

       To facilitate reporting of labor violations, particularly concerning employment in open areas, the Public Authority for Manpower has set up a dedicated WhatsApp line. Reports can be submitted to 24936192 between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM until August 31, 2024.
