SINGAPORE - A 68-year-old man was taken to hospital on Aug 7 after the car he was driving skidded at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 10 and Admiralty Road West.
The police said they were alerted to the accident at about 9pm on Aug 7.
Photos uploaded to Facebook show a car hanging precariously by its crushed bonnet at the edge of a canal. The photos also feature officers in reflective vests.
Another photo shows dislodged railings on a patch of grass next to the road, beside some bicycles.
The car is believed to have skidded, said the police, adding that the driver was conscious when taken to hospital.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said the man was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
