Donald Trump has slammed comparisons of Kamala Harris with Margaret Thatcher (Image: Getty)
Donald Trump raged that Kamala Harris being presented as a "Margaret Thatcher" figure is "sick".
During a campaign rally in Minnesota on Saturday, the former President said Ms Harris was being compared to the former Conservative UK Prime Minister by the media without any evidence.
He said: "Three months ago she was thought of so badly, [the media] were just killing her.
"And now they’re trying to make her into a – let’s say – Margaret Thatcher. I don’t think so. It’s not going to happen."
He then dished out another dig at the former state prosecutor who has seen donations to her campaign surge.

He said: "Margaret Thatcher didn’t laugh like that. Did she? If she did, she wouldn’t have been Margaret Thatcher."
Mr Trump’s nickname for the likely Democrat nominee is "Laughin’ Kamala Harris" with footage of her chuckling sparking a cacophony of memes.
He also branded his US election rival a "radical Left lunatic" as well as "evil", "unhinged" and "sick".
Ms Harris's US election hopes have received a massive boost after she was officially endorsed by both Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.
Her campaign team released a video on social media showing her taking a call from the former President and former First Lady.
The brief clip begins with Barack saying "Kamala!" before Michelle chimes in: "Hey there!"

Former president Barack Obama then adds: "We called to say, Michelle and I, couldn't be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office."
Harris ended the call saying: "I just want to tell you that the words you have spoken and the friendship that you have given over all these years mean more than I can express.
“So thank you both, it means so much. And we're going to have some fun with it too, aren't we?"
