A WOMAN believes her Labrador saved her life by sensing she had cancer.
Anna Neary, 46, said pet Harvey pawed and nudged at her breast for six weeks in 2018.

The mum of two later found a lump in the same area — and was diagnosed with stage three breast -cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes.
More than three years on, the specialist support worker is in remission and hails Harvey for -saving her life. Anna said: “He nudged and sniffed me like he’d lost something. I thought nothing of it.
“He was just lying on my right breast, very persistently. But six weeks later, I checked and found I had a lump. I went to my GP and was referred to the cancer pathway.
“I have to have yearly mammograms but I’m still here thanks to Harvey.”
Anna, from Bradford, West Yorks, shared her story with other dog-owners on Facebook, writing: “Now, three years on, I’m in remission and Harvey hasn’t left my side. I love him so much.”
Anna’s post got hundreds of likes and dozens of comments.
One, Michaela Baker, said: “Amazing boy. Best friend for life.”
Jill Eley added: “What a beautiful bond you have and such a clever dog.”
