PETALING JAYA: YX Precious Metals (YXPM) Bhd posted a net profit of RM3.04mil for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022, (1Q22).

       In a filing with Bursa, the wholesaler and manufacturer specialising in gold jewellery said revenue amounted to RM60.73mil, of which 92.39% was contributed by the wholesale segment, and the remaining 7.61% from the design and manufacture segment.

       With Malaysia transitioning into an endemic phase, the group was optimistic about the gradual economic recovery.

       The group was also mindful of the fluctuation of gold prices arising from the global economic crisis.
