KUALA LUMPUR: A car got involved in a three-vehicle pile-up here after it is believed to have sped through traffic.

       Police said the driver was injured.

       Several videos of the incident on Saturday have gone viral. One is a three-minute clip believed to be from a dashcam showing the black car weaving across a three-lane road.

       Dashcam footage from another vehicle shows the black vehicle trying to squeeze between a car and a pick-up truck and crashing into the rear of the car before ramming into the rear of a third vehicle.

       Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the incident occurred at around 10.05am on Saturday along the Middle Ring Road 2 near Kuala Ampang.

       He said the driver suffered multiple injuries and was sent to Hospital Ampang for treatment.

       “The drivers of the other vehicles escaped unhurt.”
