Officers responded at about 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 8 to the 6300 block of Auth Road for a reported shooting. They found Day Roberts with gunshot wounds in the roadway, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was also wounded in the shooting. His injuries are non-life-threatening, police said.
According to a preliminary investigation, police said the suspects shot the victims during an attempted robbery. The suspects and victims did not know each other, according to police.
It was not immediately clear whether Slaughter, Wilson or Lewis has an attorney.
