TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Belarusian sprinter Krystsina Tsimanouskaya is "safe and secure" in Japan after saying on social media her team forced her out of the Tokyo Olympics and ordered her onto a flight home, a spokesman for the International Olympic Committee said Monday.

       The IOC is seeking clarification on the incident from the Belarusian National Olympic Committee, spokesman Mark Adams told a press briefing.
