       KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: The Ministry of Education is currently coordinating with its Interior counterpart to address the problem of stranded teachers as part of preparations for the new school year, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources from the educational sector. Sources affirmed entry visas are being issued for teachers with expired residency permits, revealing that about 400 teachers need visas to enter the country and then carry out residency procedures.

       Sources clarified that teachers with valid residence permits can enter the country and they should submit proof of stay outside the country, indicating the issuance of entry visas for stranded teachers will be done in batches. Sources added the first batch consisting of 55 entry visas were issued last week, while the rest of the payments will be completed within this week and next week; affirming the ministry is hoping to finalize related procedures before the new school year.
