KUALA SELANGOR: Police will enforce strict standard operating procedure (SOP) compliance at places of interest here.
Kuala Selangor OCPD Supt Ramli Kasa said in line with the transition into Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), inter-district travel was now open to the public.
"We have and will continue to do our compliance checks to ensure everyone abides by the SOP in place.
"We will ensure strict compliance especially in the aspect of physical distancing and completion of vaccinations for those visiting these places of interest here," he said when contacted on Tuesday (Sept 14).
Over the weekend, pictures of crowds at the Pantai Remis beach here had been circulated on social media and WhatsApp.
Social media users had expressed worry over the large crowds, claiming that it posed a risk of further spread of Covid-19.
