THIS is the heart-stopping moment a stuntman crashes 25ft into a ramp after a terrifying "Globe of Death" stunt goes wrong.

       Circus Zyair was "so excited" to welcome revelers to the spectacle in Frimley Lodge Park, Surrey, on Thursday.

       The tricks started off smoothly as the final act of the show began 3

       The daredevil became unsteady in mid-air

       But the evening took a horrible turn when one of the troupe failed to land a back flip just as the show was about to close.

       The stuntmen nailed their tricks before the final act ended in tragedy.

       A source told The Sun: "There had been a great atmosphere, the show was brilliant. All the acts were so impressive.

       "There was a trapeze act, people juggling and then the motorbikes came at the end.

       "Everyone was happy, people have not been out much in the past 18 months so we were all enjoying ourselves.

       "Then there was a massive bang, people were saying 'oh my god, what just happened?, my daughter asked 'is he ok?' and everyone was told to leave immediately."

       Three ambulances and an air ambulance raced to the scene within five minutes.

       The stuntman, believed to be in his twenties, was rushed to A&E.

       A Circus Zyair spokesman said: "One of our stunt riders was injured during yesterday's 7pm circus performance.

       "He is currently in hospital receiving good care and is grateful for all the well wishes audience members have sent him.

       "He cannot wait to get back on his bike and entertain everybody again as soon as he is able to."

       A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokeman told The Sun: "We were called to the circus to reports of a person unconscious at 9pm yesterday. They were taken to Frimley Hospital for further treatment."

       The accident comes three years after one of the troupe fell 20ft to the floor performing in Perth, Scotland.

       In 2016 a dad had to be rushed to hospital after being knocked unconscious by a jokey clown.

       Ben Granham, 37, was with his two daughters when clown Ben Coles tried to flip over stooge Ben's shoulders, but was knocked out when he landed on his head.
