KUALA LUMPUR: Comintel Corp Bhd’s wholly-owned unit Total Package Sdn Bhd has won a sub-contract worth RM7.2mil from Binastra Construction Sdn Bhd for earthwork and rock hacking works of a mixed development in Damansara Perdana, Selangor.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Comintel said the works are for two blocks of 36-storey serviced apartments, which has a total of 1,066 units – 454 regular and 612 affordable units.

       It said the works would also include one floor of facility podium above eight floors of parking podium, one floor of lower ground parking, one floor of parking on mezzanine level as well as three storey sub-basement parking. It noted that the sub-contract would be completed within two months from the commencement date of Sept 6, 2021.

       Moving forward, the Practice Note 17 company expects the sub-contract to provide additional income stream for the group for the financial year ending Jan 31, 2022.
