NEW DELHI, April 5 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange reserves increased by 2.952 billion U.S. dollars to 645.583 billion dollars during the week ended March 29, revealed the data released by the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), on Friday.

       According to the weekly bulletin released by the RBI, the foreign currency assets, a key component of the forex reserves, stood at 570.618 billion dollars, an increase of 2.354 billion dollars from the previous week ended March 22.

       The gold reserves rose by 673 million dollars to 52.160 billion dollars, according to the RBI.
