SOME very chilly nights lie ahead as temperatures take a tumble.
The mercury will plunge to as low as -3C overnight across the weekend - but thankfully the sun will make a blinding appearance during the afternoons.

After a frosty morning tomorrow, temperatures will leap to "way above average" for this time of year.
Saturday will see highs of 18C for western areas, potentially climbing to 19C on Sunday.
But Brits should enjoy it while they can as the weather is set to take a damp and blustery turn from next week.
Met Office meteorologist Aidan McGivern said: "Next week looks wet, windy and very mild across the UK, particularly in the west.
"This weekend by contrast will start off cold, and then many places will enjoy a dry and bright weekend, with the brightest skies across the east and the south east.
"Cloud and rain will affect north-western areas, particularly western Scotland and Northern Ireland.
"It will be a chilly start for many on Saturday with temperatures in the towns and cities down into the low single figures in the north and the east.
"In the countryside, knock off a few degrees and we're looking at widespread frost in the east and the north.

"There could also be some dense fog patches first thing Saturday, slowly lifting through the morning.
"It will be milder towards the west, 17C or 18C towards the southwest, and colder to the north east, 8C or 9C."
It will also be a chilly start on Sunday morning, but "less frosty".
And again, there will be plenty of sunshine for Wales, southern and eastern England, and eventually north east Scotland.
"It is looking largely dry and bright and it will be a bit warmer in places, particularly in the east," Mr McGovern said.
"We're looking at widely 17C or 18C across England, Wales and eastern Scotland, and in some spots there's the possibility of 19C.
"Temperatures way above average for this time of year, and that mild theme continues into the start of next week, but increasingly we'll get an Atlantic influence and that means greater chance of wet and windy weather from Monday onwards."
