PETALING JAYA: Another video of the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) lecturer scolding a student has surfaced online.
This time, she is berating the student for coming in late for an online class.
It is unclear why he was late because she cuts him off during his explanation, however it seemed as if the student had overslept.
In the one minute and 21-second video, she said all students were told from the beginning to be early for class.
“One more time, I will chase you away from my class.”
She can also be heard saying, "All the lecturers won't oppose me. The rector won't oppose me. Now you know how fierce am I (sic)” before telling the other students to not be late next time.
She also asked the others to turn off their cameras, except for that particular student.
The lecturer became infamous on Tuesday (March 30) night, when a video of her chiding a B40
student for using his phone to attend an online class in his fifth semester went viral.
When she found out his father is unemployed and his mother is “no more”, she told him to ask
his sister to sell her gold bangle so he can get a laptop, something she felt was a must to attend online classes.
UiTM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Roziah Mohd Janor said the university has taken swift and appropriate action against the lecturer.
