A WOMAN says she was forced to wear long sleeves for more than four months after receiving a botched snake tattoo.

       TikTok user Lauren said she wanted something “cute,” but was left reeling by the final inking.

       She began the clip by sharing a compilation of accomplished snake tattoos on different parts of the body, including the hand and torso.

       The caption read: “What I thought my snake tattoo was gonna look like.”

       But she then switched the images “to what it ended up looking like” as she displayed a botched tat resembling the merest of outlines of a scaly creature.

       In the comments she revealed that she was initially left stunned by the tattoo - having chosen to look away for the vast majority of the inking.

       One user asked “how did you not notice,” to which she replied: “I was watching and then started looking away,

       “I guess I trust too much.”

       Lauren then went onto explain that she was so horrified by the tattoo that she didn’t even pay the artist and instead set about getting it covered up as soon as possible.

       And after being prompted by users, she revealed that she eventually opted for a flower design having been left “scarred by snakes.”

       The ordeal comes just weeks after a woman revealed she was given an reptile-inspired design around her arm – despite asking for a tattoo sized bracelet.

       She also explained that the tattoo was meant to be “cute” and have a specific meaning, but was horrified by the final outcome as it doesn’t match who she is as a person.

       “It had this cute meaning. The meaning was like, snakes shed their skin, it was going to symbolise growth. It was just a little cute symbol.

       “But then he did this. And now I have to walk around like ‘I’m edgy’.”
