       KUWAIT CITY, Jul 19: Technical teams in various state ministries and institutions are actively monitoring the Microsoft global technical glitch’s repercussions and taking necessary precautionary measures to address any potential fallout.

       Informed sources reported that the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Kuwait are closely coordinating to assess the situation’s developments. They are identifying entities that use the affected systems and programs to manage any observed impacts.

       The Central Bank is in ongoing communication with banks to stay updated on the situation. It is anticipated that responsible authorities will issue a statement soon to address the issue.

       Specialized teams are diligently working to resolve any malfunctions that arise.

       Health sources stated that the digital systems in health facilities are operating normally and have not been affected by the problem that has caused major Microsoft glitch around the world.

       Oil Sector

       Ahmed Al-Eidan, the CEO of Kuwait Oil Company, assured that the company’s operations are proceeding smoothly and that the Microsoft glitch has not impacted production.

       Al-Eidan stated, “We have a mechanism in place to handle emergencies with pre-prepared plans, ensuring the continued safety and normalcy of our production operations.”
