Christopher Doyley, 50, was released from Hollesley Bay prison on a temporary release licence but failed to meet at a previously agreed location in Ipswich town center on Wednesday.

       Mr Doyley is serving a six year six month sentence for grievous bodily harm, assault as well as possession of a bladed knife in a public place, Suffolk police has said.

       Suffolk Police described Doyley as black, six feet tall, of medium build, with brown eyes, black hair and clean shaven.

       Police have warned members of the public to not approach Mr Doyley and to call the police immediately.
