Prince Charles spoke to BBC's Climate Editor Justin Rowlatt on his dedication to the climate change issue. Prince Charles snapped at the idea of politicians meeting for the UN's Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November. He remarked that all they did was talk when in actuality, action was needed.
He also defended climate activist Greta Thunberg who has also called on all politicians to do more to prevent climate change.
Mr Rowlatt said: "A lot of the things you said have become mainstream.
"World leaders are gathering in Glasgow to talk about the kind of issues you have raised.
Prince Charles interrupted and said: "Yeah but they just talk.

"The problem is to get action on the ground which is what I have been trying to do for the last 40 years."
Mr Rowlatt added: "You sound a little bit like Greta Thunberg.
"She has said exactly the same thing, she said it is all blah blah blah.
"Do you feel that she is up to something good?
Prince Charles replied:" Of course, why do you think I have done all this over the years?
"This is because I minded and always have done about the next generations, I totally understand.
"Because nobody would listen, they see their future being totally destroyed."
The Prince of Wales was also asked about the Extinction Rebellion protest group and their actions.

Prince Charles admitted that he understood why they protest but insisted their methods were not helpful.
He said: "Of course I understand, but it isn't helpful.
"It isn't helpful to do it in a way that alienates people.
"I understand the frustration but the difficulty is how do you direct that frustration that is more constructive than destructive."
