A British tourist has died from a heart attack just moments after he jumped into the sea while on a boat trip in Turkey's Marmaris. Denis Crawley, 73, was enjoying a sightseeing trip in the Turkish resort town with his friends when he jumped into the sea to cool off.

       But he got into difficulty and was unable to get back on board the boat as his friends watched on in horror.

       Emergency services were called to the boat, where a team of coastguards, police and divers in two separate boats pulled him from the boat.

       The tourist was rushed to the shore but pronounced dead on the beach moments after.

       His body was transported to the local Marmaris State Hospital where a post mortem examination is due to take place to determine his exact cause of death.

       Medics are now investigating what caused the man to have a heart attack.

       They will likely look into whether Mr Crawley died from cold water shock, where a rapid drop in temperature closes blood vessels and increases blood pressure.
