LAHORE: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Monday issued an alert about dusty winds and thundershowers for most districts of Punjab from April 8 to 11.
It revealed that temperatures would also increase by 4 to 7 degrees above normal this month.
Rain with strong winds is predicted in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Jhelum, Gujranwala.

Winds and rains are also likely in Lahore, Kasur, Sialkot, Narowal, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha and Mianwali.
The heat intensity will increase in the plains of Punjab from this month.
PDMA Director General Irfan Ali Kathia said arrangements should be made to avoid humidity during the afternoon.
