People who test positive for Covid in Scotland must isolate for ten days, regardless of vaccine status or if they receive a negative PCR result.
Conservative leader Douglas Ross called on the First Minister to reduce this to seven days to allow "essential services to function fully" and keep the economy running.
It comes after England announced those in self-isolation will be allowed out after seven days by providing a negative lateral flow result on days six and seven.

It comes as angry Scots lash out on social media at the SNP Government over the hated Covid rule.
One praised the UK Government's policy as a "sensible" way to reduce "pingdemic chaos", while branding Scotland a "draconian omnishambles".
Another tweeted: "We are supposed to be following the science, surely Scotland's science is not different to England's?". A third critic said the cross-Border policy divergence was a "farce".
