IPOH: The police will continue to enforce the law under the first phase of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) even as Perak enters the second phase today, says Comm Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid.
The state police chief said the duties of the police force would continue as usual.
“We will wait for the full standard operating procedure, but there’s not much difference with the first phase.
“Crossing of states and districts is still not allowed. Our policemen, including those manning roadblocks and monitoring SOP compliance, will carry on normally,” he said.Perak is among five states – the others being Kelantan, Pahang, Terengganu and Perlis – that will move into Phase Two of the NRP today.
