PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 27,299 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday (Feb 26), says the Health Ministry.

       According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 27,043 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 256 imported cases.

       This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 3,395,170 cases since the pandemic began.

       A total of 43 deaths were recorded on Saturday with 13 classified as being brought-in-dead, bringing the total to 32,634.
